I’m looking for a local well trained chiropractor to research my options for finding some back pain releif. I have confirmed degenerative changes in my spine for several years, but I fear that I may have bulging or herniated disc(s) in ly L4 or L5 spinal region that cause acute muscular & skeletal pain across the lower back, numbness in top of left thigh and also at least a pinched nerve or two in my upper back that causes my arms to go numb and tingly and weakened muschles without strenuous use. I have had 2 standard XRays that show progressive degenerative chagnes in the spine but feel that an MRI will show exactly what is going onwith the nerves and soft tissues and what the best NON surgical way will be to releive the chronic daily pain and possibly prevent it from getting worse. I don’t want to have to daily rely on pain killers and muscle relaxers for the rest of my life and skip as many days as I can stand the pain. If you have any brochures that you could send, I would greatly appreciate it. My sister, who has two herniated and bulging discs suggested that I find a chiropractor that does “gentle manipulations” – understand the results are a little slower but aren’t as painful as traditional ones. I appreciate any information you can send me.
